Answer: To conserve ammo by only firing when regulars were close

Answer: There orders were to defend Bunker Hill, but they defended Breeds Hill instead because it was closer to the River.

Loyalist

Question: Why did some people not suggest cutting ties with Great Britain?
Answer: Some people worked for the British government and thought that Britain would at some point stop.

Question: What is a loyalist?
Answer: Someone who is loyal to a country. In this case Great Britain.

Question: Why did loyalist fear the war?
Answer: They believed there properties would be destroyed and some may die

Question: What part did loyalist play in the war?
Answer: They helped the British government in as much ways as possible.

Question: What did colonist most likely do to Loyalist?
Answer: They bullied, abused, embarrassed them because of there beliefs.

The Compromise changing minds of colonist

Question: Why did colonist want Great Britain to compromise?
Answer: So there would be no more fighting and killing between countries.

Question: Why did colonist understand compromise with great Britain could not be reached.
Answer: Because they knew when more British soldier's were killed, the British government would not back down.

Question: How did some colonist see themselves when Great Britain turned down the compromise?
Answer: They saw themselves as an independent country.

Question: Why did Patrick Henry make his saying after great Britain rejected the attempt at compromise?
" I am not a Virginian but I am an American."

Answer: He made that saying because it symbolized that the colonist were and independent country brought together in the fight to break free of Great Britain's control.

Answer: They banned together and fought Great Britain head on to get there freedom and independence

Question: How did the events around Boston Make colonist look at themselves in a new way
Answer: They looked at themselves in a new way because there were barley any British troops in Boston after they sailed out. So they saw themselves as independent.

Question: What does Patrick Henry's famous saying mean to colonist?
"I am not a virginian, but I am an american"

Answer: His famous saying means that the colonist in the 13 colonies are one independent country. All of them are Americans.

Answer: The Battle of Lexington and Concord and The Battle of Bunker Hill

Answer: They were fighting for freedom and independence
